IRA Newsletter Project #4: ABCYa https://www.abcya.com/

ABCYa is a helpful literacy website that has free printables as well as games that students can use to help improve their literacy. This website is mainly geared towards younger students as you can see by the types of worksheets and games that they offer. Nevertheless, students can still benefit from this website as it is enticing the students to practice on their literacy skills so that they are able to play the games properly.

Teachers love using free resources and who would not agree with that! Websites such as ABCYa offer other areas of literacy skills such as grammar and one can even sort the games based on theme or even genre. This website is helpful and is actually partnered with IXL, which is another company that the Guam department of education uses for their students. It helps keep learning fun, but also meaningful.
